80-18A-1 - CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: May 27, 1980 RESOLUTION NO: 18-A-l MOTION BY COUNCILMAN: Pearson SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN: Geving A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY HALL/ LIBRARY AND PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY FOR THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN. BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota, as follows: 1). It is hereby found, determined and declared that the lowest two bids submitted by responsible contractors for the construction of new muncipal facilities, the City Hall/Library and the Public Works Building, are as follows: James Leck Company Loeffel Engstrand $857,900. 875,200. e 2). The contract for the construction of the City Hall/Library and the Public Works Facility, is hereby awarded to James Leck Company in the amount of $857,900. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return bid deposits of all bidders except the lowest two bidders. The bid deposits of the lowest two bidders for each respective schedule shall be retained pending the excecution of contracts. 3). The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the low bidder, James Leck Company, upon said bidder furnishing a satisfactory corporate surety bond, conditioned upon specifications and otherwise as required by law. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota, this 27th day of May, 1980.
