Staffing is at 44 active firefighters as of June 15,2007; allocation is 45 PTEs.
As of June 3, 2007 we have responded to 232 calls, up 19 calls from 213 at the same time last year. We
had a water rescue that drew quite a bit of media attention, where a male was entangled in the propeller
of a boat.

This month's training consisted of medical stations and water rescue training.
Fire Marshal:
There are no fires to report on at this time.
Fire Inspections:
New construction - All of the major components of the fire sprinkler/fire alarm systems have been
completed. There are a few minor fire code items that need to be completed before the certificate of

Metro Karate, Stone Creek Town Offices, Town and Country Townhomes, Tile Super Store, Heartland
America warehouse expansion, Lifetime Fitness Corporate Office, Sign Source and the Chanhassen
High School. All of these proj ects are at various stages of construction and inspections.
