A Side Yard Setback Variance for the Construction of a Two Car CraraRe on Property Zoned RSF
and located at 3861 Red Cedar Point Drive, Kevin Clark
A1-Jaff presented the staff report. One condition was added stating that the applicant shall
provide two deciduous trees along the easterly edge of the property line along the new garage

The applicant, Kevin Clark, stated that he is in agreement with all of the staff's statements and
recommendations; however, his lot is extremely wooded and adding additional trees would cause
access problems to the rear of his property. He also stated that he intended to plant additional
trees however, he did not wish to locate them along the easterly edge of the pmpa'ty line.
Mayor Chmiel stated that he is always supportive of additional trees planted; however, in this
case he agreed with the applicant that the parcel was extremely wooded and if the applicant
wishes to locate trees somewhere else on the pwpa~ then that should be acceptable.
Johnson agreed with Chmiel's statement.
