Ordinance 002dCITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2D An Ordinance amending Section 13, Subdivision 1 and adding a subdivision 18 to Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2 (Removal of Open Bottles from Licensed Premises). The City Council of Chanhassen Ordains: Section 1. Subdivision 1 of Section 13 of Ordinance No. 2, adopted July 17, 1967, and as amended heretofore by Ordinance Nos. 2A, 2B and 2C, and entitled "An Ordinance Licensing & Regulating the Sale and Con- sumption of Intoxicating Liquor and Providing a Penalty for Violation" is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13. Revocation. Subdivision 1. The City Council may suspend or revoke any license for the sale of intoxicating liquor for the violation of any provision or condition of this ordinance, or of any city ordinance or of any State Law or Federal Law regulating the sale of intoxicating liquor, and shall revoke such license for any willful violation which under the laws of the state is grounds for mandatory revocation and shall revoke for failure to keep the bond, insurance or other deposit required by Section 12 in full force and effect." Section 2. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2, adopted July 17, 1967, and as amended heretofore by Ordinance Nos. 2A, 2B, and 2C, entitled "An Ordinance Licensing and Regulating The Sale and Consumption of Intoxicating Liquor and Providing a Penalty for Violation" is hereby amended by adding a sub- division 18 reading as follows: "Section 5. Subdivision 18. No licensee shall permit any person to remove, and no person shall remove,f_rom the space or building named in the license for which it was granted, any bottle or receptacle, which contains intoxicating liquor or non -intoxicating malt liquor, which has been opened, or the seal broken, or the contents of which have been partially removed. "Each Licensee shall post, in a conspicuous location near • each exit from the space or building named in the license for which it was granted, a sign advising the public of thepenalties provided in this ordinance for the violation of the provisions of the previous sentence." V • • r Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication.
