AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.3(6) and 9.2(7) OF SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE NUMBER 33-D.
Section 1. Sections 5.3(6) and 9.2(7) of Ordinance 33-D are
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 5.3(6). Location, size and approximate
grade of proposed public sewer and water mains. If
public sewer and water are not available the deve-
loper shall provide site evaluation data required
by "Minnesota Rules Chapter 7080 Individual Sewage
Treatment Systems Standards" to determine the
suitability of the site for individual sewage
systems. References shall be made to "Soil Survey:
Carver (or Hennepin) County, Minnesota," U.S.
Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation
Service, and any other available sources. The data
required shall be determined by the City.
Section 9.2(7). Sewer Disposal. If available,
• public sanitary sewer main and service connections
shall be approved by the City Engineer and
installed to serve all lots in the subdivision. In
unsewered areas, facilities for sewage disposal,
which meet applicable city ordinance requirements
• _ for Individual Sewage Disposal Systems (Ordinance
10-A), must be provided. The following data is
required for review:
1. Location of two (2) drainfield sites.
2. Two (2) soil borings on each drainfield site
for a total of four (4) soil borings per lot.
3. No percolation tests are required for slopes
between zero and twelve (12) percent. One (1) per-
colation test per drainfield site where the land
slope is between 13 and 25 percent;
4. Areas where the land slope exceeds 25 percent
shall not be considered as a potential soil treat-
ment unit site.
The depth of the percolation test should be deter-
mined in the field by the site evaluator.

Section 2. This ordinance is in full force commencing on the
date of the publication of this summary.
