AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20 OF THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE
The City Council of Chanhassen ordains:
Section 1.

Section 20-1255 (2)a is hereby amended as
a. On premise signs shall not be larger than four (4) square
feet. The maximum height of the sign shall not exceed
five (5) feet from the ground. The placement of direc-
tional signs on the property shall be so located such
that the sign does not adversely affect adjacent proper-
ties or the general appearance of the site from public
right-of-ways. The number of signs shall not exceed four
(4) unless approved by the City Council.
Section 2. Section 20-1255 (2)c is amended as follows:
c. On premise signs for industrially zoned land in excess of
forty (40) acres shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet.
The maximum height of the sign shall not exceed five (5)
feet from the ground. The placement of directional signs
• on the property shall be so located such that the sign
does not adversely affect adjacent properties or the
general appearance of the site from public right-of-ways.
The number of signs shall not exceed four (4) unless
approved by the City Council.

Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective from and
after
its passage and publication.
