AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF
THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE CONCERNING
INTOXICATING LIQUOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 10-98 of the Chanhassen City Code is amended by adding
subparagraphs (d) and (e) to read:
(d) No off -sale intoxicating liquor license shall be issued on a lot within 500 feet of
a lot which already has an off -sale intoxicating liquor license. The distance shall
be measured in a straight line from the closest point of the lots. Licensed
premises on the effective date of this ordinance may continue to operate
notwithstanding this provision.
(e) No more than four (4) off -sale intoxicating liquor licenses may be issued in the
City.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of April , 1994, by the City Council
of the City of Chanhassen.
