Ordinance 228CITY OF CHANHASSEN • CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 228 • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE CONCERNING THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 2-1 of the Chanhassen City Code is amended to read: Members of the City Council shall receive compensation from the City at a rate of four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month. In addition to compensation as a council member, the mayor shall receive one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month for the additional duties required of such office. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after the next succeeding municipal election. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of October , 19949 by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen.
