Ordinance 233CITY OF CHANHASSEN • CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 233 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE CONCERNING ANIMALS TAKEN INTO PARKS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 14-65 of the Chanhassen City Code is amended to read as follows: No person shall be permitted to take any animal, including but not limited to dogs and cats, into a park. This prohibition shall not apply to properly harnessed or leashed service animals, from a recognized service animal training program, assisting blind or deaf persons or persons with a physical or sensory disability. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication. • PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of February , 1995, by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen.
