AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE
CHANHASSEN CITY CODE, THE CITY'S ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS:
Section 1. Chapter 20 of the Chanhassen City Code, the City's zoning ordinance, is hereby
amended by rezoning all property within the following plat from Agricultural Estate, A2, to
Planned Unit Development, PUD:
Arboretum Business Park and (Wrase parcel) That part of the South Half of the Northwest
Quarter (S% of NW%a of Section 16, Township 116 North, Range 23 West) described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter, thence South 89 degrees 52
minutes 35 seconds East (assumed bearing) along the South line of said Northwest Quarter, a
distance of 1410.72 feet; thence North 0 degrees, 52 minutes 20 seconds West a distance of 245.6
feet to the actual point of beginning of tract of land to be described; thence continuing North 0
degrees 52 minutes 20 seconds West a distance of 300 feet; thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes 35
seconds East along a line parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 457
feet; thence South 0 degrees 52 minutes 20 seconds East a distance of 300 feet, thence North 89
• degrees 52 minutes 35 seconds West along a line parallel with the South line of said Northwest
Quarter a distance of 457 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The rezoning of this property is subject to the plans dated stamped received June
24, 1997.
Section 3. The zoning map of the City of Chanhassen shall not be republished to show the
aforesaid zoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark the zoning map on file in the Clerk's Office
for the purpose of indicating the rezoning hereinabove provided for in this ordinance, and all of the
notations, references, and other information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference
and made a part of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication.
