Ordinance 345CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO.345 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 11 AND 14 OF THE CHANHASSEN CITY CODE CONCERNING THE DISCHARGE OF BOWS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 11-2(b) of the Chanhassen City Code is amended by adding subparagraph (9) to read as follows: (9) Discharging a bow at an archery range in a City park in accordance with park rules. SECTION 2. Section 14-63 of the Chanhassen City Code is amended to read: No firearms, air -rifles, BB guns, slingshots, explosives, fireworks, or devices capable of discharging blank ammunition shall be brought into or used in park • areas, except the discharge of a bow at an archery range in accordance with park rules, and by peace officers while executing their lawful duties. • SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
