AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION 1.01 OF SECTION 1, SUBDIVISION
9.03 OF SECTION 9, AND SUBDIVISION 16.01 OF SECTION 16 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 34, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING THE SALE
AND CONSUMPTION OF NON -INTOXICATING MALT LIQUORS AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF", AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 34 B.
THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Subdivision 1.01 of Section 1 , Subdivision 9.03 of Sec-
tion 9, and Subdivision 16.01 of Section 16 of Ordinance No. 34, adopted
February 24, 1969, and entitled "An Ordinance Licensing and Regulating the Sale
and Consumption of Non -Intoxicating Malt Liquors and Providing a Penalty for
the Violation Thereof" and as amended by Ordinance No. 34 A, adopted February
7, 1971, are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. Provisions of State Law Adopted.
1.01 All the provisions of the Minnesota Non -Intoxicating Malt
Liquor Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340, as last amended,
and all laws amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto, copies
of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby
adopted and made a part of this ordinance as if fully set out herein,
except as modified herein.
Section 9.
9.03 No beer shall be sold or served to any intoxicated person
or to any person under 18 years of age.
Section 16.
16.01 Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred ($300.00) Dol-
lars and/or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage
and publication.
