Ordinance 036cCITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE 36-C ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4.04 OF ORDINANCE NO. 36 ADOPTED • MAY 1.9, 1969, AS AMENDED HERETOFORE, AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF SIGNS." 1 THE CITY COUNCIL OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 4.04 of Ordinance No. 36, adopted May 19, 1969, and entitled "An Ordinance Regulating and Providing for the Licensing of Signs 11 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4.04. Industrial Districts: a) Identification Signs: One identification sign per business occupant of any building not to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet or two (2) square feet per one thousand (1,000) square feet of the gross area of the building main floor with a maximum of 80 square feet and a maximum height of twenty (20) feet. No sign shall be placed closer than twenty-five (25) feet to any street right-of-way line. An identification sign shall not extend above the roof or coping of the building. b) Area Identification Signs: One sign per development not to exceed eighty (80) square feet in area. SECTION 2. This ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the Council this 4th day of January, 1982.
