Ordinance 036d• CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE 36-D AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2(f) AND 3.19 OF ORDINANCE NO. 36, ADOPTED MAY 19, 1969, AS AMENDED HERETOFORE, AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF SIGNS". THE CITY COUNCIL OF CHANHASSEN ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 2(f) of Ordinance No. 36, adopted May 19, and entitled "An Ordinance Regulating and Providing for the Licensing of Signs," is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2. DEFINITIONS. (f) "Directional Sign" is a sign erected on private property for the purpose of directing pedestrian or vehicular traffic onto or about the property upon which such sign is located, including signs Is marking entrances and exits, circulation direction, parking areas, and pick-up and delivery areas. t 1969, SECTION 2. Section 3.19 of Ordinance 36, as adopted and amended heretofore, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3.19. One directional sign is permitted for each private access drive serving parcels located in any Commercial or Industrial District, subject to the following requirements: a. Directional signs shall bear no advertising and shall not exceed four (4) square feet in sign display area, nor shall such signs exceed four (4) feet in height, as measured from the existing ground elevation at the base of such sign. b. Such signs shall not be erected closer than five (5) feet from any property line. • • 0 Page 2 SECTION 3.
