81-27 . -- e CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION Dated August 3, 1981 Motion by Councilmember Geving Resolution No. 81-27 Seconded by Councilmember Neveaux ESTABLISHMENT OF NO PARKING ZONE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chanhassen did on August 1, 1977, adopt Ordinance No. 3-H relating to the regulation of the use of streets within the City; and WHEREAS, the provisions of Sll of said Ordinance No. 3-H provide that the City Council may from time to time establish no parking zones; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota: That, the following no parking zones for motor vehicles and trailers are hereby designated and established, in addition to those no parking zones established heretofore: 23. West 79th Street: from its intersection with the centerline of Great Plains Boulevard extending easterly four hundred (400) feet more or less to its terminus. The within Resolution shall remain in force until such time as changed by further resolution of this Council. The following members were present: Mayor Hamilton, Councilmen Neveaux, Geving, SWenson and Horn. and the following were absent: None ~r-:n~ *** _t.-J.-~ #",,,\, The Mayor announced that the meeting was convened for the consid- eration of the bids which had been received for the purchase of $4,715,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds of 1981, Series A, as advertised for sale. The City Manager presented affidavits showing publication of notice of sale in the official newspaper and in Commercial West, a financial paper published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which affidavits were examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The City Manager presented the tabulation of bids which had been received prior to the time specified in the notice of sale, and which had been opened and tabulated in his presence with the assist:ance of representative of Juran & Moody, Inc., financial advisers to the City.
