83-14 ,. . . 41 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION DATE: April 26, 1983 RESOLUTION NO: 83-14 MOTION BY COUNCILMAN: Horn SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN: Watson A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF A CHANHASSEN DEPUTY REGISTRAR OFFICE WHEREAS, Carver County Coordinated Services, Inc. has requested to establish a Deputy Registrar's Office in the City of Chanhassen: WHEREAS, the profits from said Deputy Registrar's Office will be donated to the Carver County Adult Care Center: WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen is interested in promoting new business and services for our citizens. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY The City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the City Council hereby supports the establishment a Deputy Registrar's Office within the City of Chanhassen. Passed and adopted by the City Council this 26th day of April, 1983. The following members of the Council were present: Acting Mayor Swenson, Councilman Horn and Councilwoman Watson. and the following were absent: Mayor Hamilton and Councilman Geving. "k'l\i~ i'\,;'rl( "'Inh'\ The Mayor announced that the meeting was convened for the consid- eration of the bids which had been received for the purchase of the City's various General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1983, as adver- tised for sale. The City Manager presented affidavits showing publi- cation of notice of sale in the. City's official newspaper and in Commercial West, a financial paper published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which affidavits were examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The City Manager announced that no bids for the Bonds had been received.
