EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF
THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN,
CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in
the City of Chanhassen, on Monday

RESOLUTION NO.
84-18
RESOLUTION RELATING TO A CERTAIN LOST
BOND COUPON: AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF DUPLICATE COUPONS
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota
(City), as follows:
1. The City has heretofore issued and sold its General Obligation Tax
Increment Bonds of 1981, Series A, dated August 1, 1981 (Bonds).
2. The City has been formed by Norwest Bank Minneapolis, paying agent,
that certain coupons appertaining to certain of the Bonds has been lost and that
after diligent search the coupon cannot be found.
3. Norwest Bank Hinneapolis has submitted a request on behalf of the
owner of the coupon that a duplicate coupon be issued, has further supplied the
City with satisfactory evidence that the coupon has in fact been lost and has
supplied the City with sufficient indemnification insuring that the City will
suffer no loss in the event the lost coupon is presented for payment.

The City is authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.70 to issue
coupons where satisfactory evidence of loss and indemnification is
The City shall therefore issue duplicate coupons for the following
Bond Issue: General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds of 1981, Series A
Date of Bond: August 1, 1981
Interest Rate: 11.5%
Bond No: Nos. 4 and 5
Amount of Coupon: $287.50 each
Due date of Coupon: February 1, 1983
Coupon Nos: 3
CUSIP No.: 159105JN6
The Coupon shall be typewritten in substantially the following form attached
hereto as Exhibit A and B. The Coupons shall be executed by the facsimile
signatures of the Mayor and City Manager.
5. The Finance Director is authorized and directed to prepare the coupon
in accordance with law and to deliver it to Norwest Bank Minneapolis as paying
agent, upon payment to the City by the owner thereof or on his or her behalf of
all costs of the City, its officers, agents and employees in connection there-
with.
The motion for the adoption of the fo~going resolution was duly seconded
by Member

voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hamilton, Councilmernbers Horn, Watson & Geving.

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
