Release of land from contract for private redevelopment between
the City of Chanhassen and Roberts Automatic Products,
Incorporated
BACKGROUND
The attorney for Roberts Automatic Products, Incorporated has requested that the
City grant a release from their contract for private redevelopment.
The Downtown TIF District (#1) was decertified on September 13, 2004.
Staff has reviewed the files and finds the project complete and in compliance with
the redevelopment contract.
RECOMMENDA TION
Staff recommends that the Chanhassen EDA approve the attached "Release of
Land from Contracts for Private Redevelopment and Assessment Agreement".
Approval of this item requires a majority vote of the EDA.

Minnesota, legally described as LOT 1, BLOCK 1, CHANHASSEN BUSINESS PARK, SIXTH ADDITION
is hereby released from all obligations, terms and conditions found in the following documents:
(1) That certain Contract for Private Redevelopment by and between the Chanhassen
Housing and Redevelopment Authority, a public body corporate and politic n/kla
the Chanhassen Economic Development Authority, a public body corporate and
politic, and Roberts Automatic Products, Incorporated., a Minnesota corporation,
dated July 25, 1990, and recorded September 28, 1990 in the Office of the Carver
County Recorder as Document No.118239 and on September 28, 1990 in the
Office of the County Registrar of Titles as Document No. T66582; and
(2) That certain Assessment Agreement and Certification of Assessor by and between
the Chanhassen Housing and Redevelopment Authority, a public body corporate
and politic n/kla the Chanhassen Economic Development Authority, a public
body corporate and politic, and Roberts Automatic Products, Incorporated, a
Minnesota corporation, dated July 25, 1990, and recorded September 28, 1990 in
the Office of the Carver County Recorder as Document No.118239 and on
September 28, 1990 in the Office of the County Registrar of Titles as Document
No. T66582; and
