2008-04 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: January 28, 2008 RESOLUTION NO: 2008-04 MOTION BY: Litsey SECONDED BY: Ernst APPROVE RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS 1,400 FEET WEST OF GALPIN BOULEVARD TO AUDUBON ROAD (NORTH) S.A.P. PROJECT NO. 194-020-008 & CITY PROJECT NO. 06-03 WHEREAS, this resolution was passed this 28th day of January, 2008, by the City of Chanhassen in Carver County, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City"; and WHEREAS, the City has planned the improvement of Lyman Boulevard, County State Aid Highway No. 18, from 1,400 feet west of Galpin Boulevard to Audubon Road (North) in the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the City will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the improvements of this street; and WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. NOW THERE BE IT RESOLVED that the City shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Lyman Boulevard, County State Aid Highway No. 18, from 1,400 feet west of Galpin Boulevard to Audubon Road (North) in the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota, at all times.
