Member Hamilton thereupon introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION RESOLUTION NO. 88-16 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minneso- ta: Section 1. It is hereby found and determined that at the special election held in and for said City on February 24, 1988, upon the following question: QUESTION 1: SHALL THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ISSUE AND SELL ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,400,000 FOR MUNICIPAL FIRE FIGHTING FACILITIES CONSISTING OF AN ADDITION TO THE CENTRAL FIRE STATION AND A FIRE TRUCK TO BE HOUSED THEREIN? . ~ e there were cast a total of 1,711 of the aforesaid bond issue, and ballots were spoiled or defective; declared approved. votes, of which 1,132 were in favor 570 were against the same: 9 and the bond issue in question is hereby Section 2. It is hereby found and determined that at the special election held in and for said City on February 24, 1988, upon the following question: QUESTION 2: SHALL THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ISSUE AND SELL ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,600,000 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF A MULTIPURPOSE COMMUNITY CEN.TER? there were cast a total of 1,711 votes, of which 773 were in favor of the aforesaid bond issue, and 934 were against the same: 4 ballots were spoiled or defective; and the bond issue in question is hereby declared disapproved. e Section 3. It is hereby found and determined that at the special election held in and for said City on February 24, 1988, upon the following question: QUESTION 3: SHALL THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ISSUE AND SELL ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $300,000 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LAKE ANN PARK? there were cast a total of 1,711 votes, of which 934 were in favor of the aforesaid bond issue, and 771 were against the same: 6 ballots were spoiled or defective; and the bond issue in question is hereby declared approved. Section 4. It is hereby found election held in and for said City on question: votes, of which 852 were in favor 854 were against the same: 5 and the bond issue in question is hereby and determined that at. the special February 24, 1988, upon the following QUESTION 5: SHALL THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN ISSUE AND SELL ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $300,000 FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARKLANDS IN THE CITY? there were cast a total of 1,711 of the aforesaid bond issue, and ballots were spoiled or defective; declared approved. votes, of which 854 were in favor 850 were against the same: 7 and the bond issue in question is hereby The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Horn , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hamilton, Councilmen Geving, Horn and Boyt. and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
