88-25 e CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: March 28, 1988 RESOLUTION NO: 88-25 MOTION BY: Hamilton SECONDED BY: Geving A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TETON LANE FEASIBILITY STUDY (ALTERNATE NO.4) AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROJECT FILE 87-16 WHEREAS, on March 14, 1988, the City Council considered the Teton Lane Feasibility Study. Staff was directed to prepare a new alternate which would evaluate the feasibility of upgrading Teton Lane with an intermediate roadway section that would be physically separated from Phase II of the Curry Farms subdivision with some form of breakaway structure that could be surmounted by emergency vehicles in time of emergency. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN THAT: 1. The Council accepts Alternate No.4 as the preferred alternate for the Teton Lane Feasibility Study and that the expense for implementation of this alternate shall be borne solely by Centex Homes. e 2. That the developer be responsible for reimbursing the City for its consultant's expenses in preparation of this study ($3,700). 3. That the firm of William R. Engelhardt and Associates is authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the project. Further, that design details for the upgrade of Teton Lane in accordance with the criteria laid out in Alternate 4 shall be submitted for approval to the City Engineer and the City Council as a part of the plans and specification approval process for Curry Farms 2nd Addition.
