r -- CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: August 15, 1988 RESOLUTION NO: 88-83 MOTION BY: Hamilton SECONDED BY: Horn A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PORTION OF THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PHASE I IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 86-11A WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the Downtown Redevelopment Phase I Improvement Project 86-11A. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CHANHASSEN, MINNESOTA: Ie 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted in part and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it; however, the following parcels are excluded from the approved roll for further clarification and review by the consulting engineer to be resubmitted to the City Council for final disposition on September 12, 1988: PIN OWNER 25-0121500 25-0130300 25-0131200 25-0131300 25-0131400 25-0131600 25-0130800 25-0132000 25-0133300 25-0136500 25-0500040 25-3500380 25-6920020 25-0130110 25-0136510 Hanson, Bernard and Mary City of Chanhassen Pauly, Henry and Gloria City of Chanhassen Pryzmus, John and Sharon Pauly, Henry and Gloria Kallestad Enterprises (Pony Express) American Oil Company Enright-Sorenson Church of st. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual prin- cipal installments extending over a period of 13 years and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment, due in 1989, shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1989. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. e e e 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such prop- erty, with no interest charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolu- tion; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the city treasurer the entire principal balance of the assessment remaining unpaid. As such payments are made, current annual amounts certified at the County shall remain payable as part of the property tax process. 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
