87-108 ...- CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: October 5, 1987 RESOLUTION NO: 87-108 e MOTION BY: Johnson SECONDED BY: Hamilton A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2000 COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, adopted the 2000 Comprehensive Land Use Plan on April 19, 1982; and WHEREAS, the City has received a petition to amend the 2000 Comprehensive Land Use Plan to amend the MUSA boundary to include 15 acres for Low Density Residential Development and to redesignate 44 acres of High Density Residential, 33 acres of Parks and Open Space and 31 acres of Low Density Residential to land uses shown in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petition on September 23, 1987 by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered said petition on October 5, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City, inlaccordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act and the Metropolitan Council Guidelines for Reviewing Local Comprehensive Plan Amendments, has determined that the amend- ment is consistent with the Goals and policies of the Comprehensive 4It Plan and its Land Use Element; and WHEREAS, the amendment has been determined by the Metropolitan Council to be in conformity with Metropolitan System Plans, the Metropolitan Development Guide, and appears to be compatible with the plans of adjacent communities; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved the amendment on December 17, 1987; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2000 Comprehensive Land Use Plan be hereby amended to change the land use designations as shown on Exhibit A. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen this 5th day of October, 1987.
