RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR REALLOCATION OF YEAR XI
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS AND
AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen has executed a Joint
Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County Community Development
Block Grant Program.
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen has developed a proposal for
the use of Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed use of Community Development Block Grant
funds by the City has been developed consistent with the Urban
Hennepin County Statement of Objectives and the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
e
WHEREAS, the proposed use of Community Development Block Grant
funds was developed in cooperation with local citizens and the
appropriate Urban Hennepin County Planning Area for Citizen
Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
Chanhassen approved the following proposed program for use of Year
XI Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant funds
by the City and authorizes submittal of the proposal to Hennepin
County for consideration for inclusion in the Year XI Urban
Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Statement of
Objectives and projected Use of Funds.
