Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easement, Lot 27, Block 1, Liberty on
Bluff Creek
PROPOSED MOTION
"The City Council approves the easement vacation for Lot 27, Block 1, Liberty
on Bluff Creek subject to filing Liberty on Bluff Creek 3rd Addition plat and
development contract."
City Council approval requires a simple majority vote of the City Council
present.
BACKGROUND
K. Hovnanian Homes has requested that a portion
of the drainage and utility easement in Lot 27,
Block 1, Liberty on Bluff Creek be vacated. The
property is located in the southeast comer of
Audubon Boulevard and Bluff Creek Boulevard.
A drainage and utility easement was granted in
2006 with the Liberty on Bluff Creek final plat.
Four lots within the first addition are being
replatted with the third addition. The lot
configuration changed, therefore a portion of the
drainage and utility easement dedicated with the
first addition plat must be vacated. There are no
utilities within the vacation area.

VACATION OF DRAINAGE & UTILITY EASEMENTS
CITY OF CHANHASSEN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chanhassen City Council will hold a public
hearing on Monday, September 8, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Chanhassen
City Hall, 7700 Market Boulevard. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the request of K.
Hovnanian Homes for the vacation of a portion of the drainage and utility easement at Lot 27,
Block 1, Liberty on Bluff Creek.
A legal description and drawing of the proposed vacation area are available for public
review at City Hall during regular business hours.
All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing and express their opinions
with respect to this proposal.
