Staff obtained a cost estimste of $16,000 to comp]crc such a survey. Thc Senior Commission directed staff to investigate other options to' make this survey mo~ affordable. The Sertior Commisaion work~ with Mid-Minnesota SAIL/EDP on a survey that evaluated thc city's services to determine flit is "Senior Ready." The cost of applying for thc survey was $'25. The following services were (survey results attached). Based upon these results, the Senior Commission community. One of thc first tm~ they will unde~'mke is crating a directory that lists phone numbers of all services available to seniors. This directory will be available on the city's web site, as well as in hard copy format.
