Resolution Accepting a $500 Donation to the Senior Center from
Community Bank Chanhassen
PROPOSED MOTION:
The City Council approves the Resolution Accepting a $500 Donation from
Community Bank Chanhassen for the annual Senior Center Holiday Party.
Further, staff is directed to prepare a letter of thanks to Community Bank.
Approval requires a simple majority vote of the City Council.
The Senior Center hosts a holiday party for its participants annually. The party
consists of a catered lunch, entertainment, and door prizes. This is the fifth year
that Community Bank Chanhassen has graciously agreed to co-sponsor this event.
The holiday party is the best attended event of the year. Community Bank's
donation helps offset food and entertainment costs, making the party reasonably
priced and hopefully affordable for all who attend.
RECOMMENDA TION
It is recommended that the city council accept the $500 donation from
Community Bank Chanhassen for the annual holiday party. Upon receiving
approval from council, staff will send a letter thanking them and present them
with a Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CHANHASSEN CITY COUNCIL hereby accepts the
$500 donation from Community Bank Chanhassen for the annual Chanhassen Senior Center
Holiday Party.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that city staff is hereby directed to prepare a letter of
thanks to them for their donation.
