A simple majority vote is required to approve this item. BACKGROUND Attached please find the 2011 Key Financial Strategies /Strategic Plan. The City Council met on January 8, 2011 to brainstorm ideas for 2011 goals, individually ranked those goals, and then discussed a final Strategic Plan on January 24. The results of that process are attached. Items that were not identified as 2011 goals may be reconsidered in 2012. Following adoption, staff will proceed with the research and planning necessary to consider or implement each item. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the 2011 Key Financial Strategies /Strategic Plan.
