Approve Stipulation of Settlement for JP Links, Inc. Assessment
Appeal- Project No. 97-6
REQUESTED ACTION
Approve the stipulation of settlement xvith J.P. Links, Inc. concerning assessments
for utilities extended as part of the W. 78th Street construction by MnDOT, City
Project No. 97-6.
DISCUSSION
The City's attorney and the property o;vners have worked out an agreement
whereby the property owner agrees that his property will pay appropriate hook-up
and lateral connection fees at the time of connection based on the number of units
constructed. In return, the property owner will drop his assessment contention.
The City's attorney has recommended and City staff concurs that this agreement
be approved.
