Finance Department • Staff met with Rob Tautges from Tautges Redpath Company on Wednesday, November 12 to finalize outstanding issues associ- ated with TIF reporting forms. The 1996 reporting forms, along with the CPA's analysis, will be delivered to the Office of the State Auditor next week. • Staff met with TR Systems last Thursday, November 6, to discuss Fundworks and year 2000 compli- ance. At that meeting, Mirasoft, Inc. presented a demonstration as an alternative and answer to year 2000 compliance. Park & Recreation Department • The Park & Recreation Depart- ment is in Rochester, MN for the annual Minnesota Recreation and Park's Association annual confer- ence. Engineering Department • MnDOT officials met with Holy Cross Lutheran Church located off of Leslee Curve in Chanhassen on November 12 to discuss options for providing long -term access to Highway 7. • The Engineering Department will be discussing with Jerome Carlson, developer of the Highover subdivi- sion, about acquiring a lot for future Well No. 8. • Engineering staff and MnDOT officials will be meeting next week to discuss local cost - participation policies for the future Trunk High- way 5 project. • Engineering staff will be meeting with representatives of Southwest Metro Transit to discuss potential locations for a future bus storage facility. There is a possibility of considering a joint venture with SWMT on a Public Works/bus storage facility. Administration • Staff's annual Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 11, at 12 noon at the Recreation Center.
