SUBJ: Acceptance of Streets and Storm Sewer Drainage System in Pointe Lake
' Lucy, Project No. 95 -9
' Staff has received a letter from Kenneth Adolf, Project Engineer with Schoell & Madson, Inc.,
requesting the City consider acceptance of the public street and storm sewer drainage system
improvements in the above - referenced project. According to Mr. Adolf, the public street and
' storm sewer drainage system improvements have been completed in conformance with the
approved plans and specifications. City staff performed a walk - through inspection of the
project and found the project is in satisfactory condition.
t It is therefore recomtrended that the City Council accept the public street and storm sewer
drainage system improvements in Creekside Addition, Project 95 -5 for perpetual maintenance
' and ownership conditioned upon the developer and/or contractor supplying the City with an
acceptable maintenance bond for two years from the date of acceptance. Also a separate five
year maintenance bond will be required for the concrete curb and gutter.
