SUBJ: Consider Acceptance of Public Utility Improvements in The Woods at Longacres
Project No. 93 -28
The City has received a request to consider acceptance and ownership of the public utilities in The
' Woods at Longacres; specifically the 10 -inch sanitary sewer line which was extended across a
wetland .on Lot 4, Block 1 and Outlot F this past winter to service future phases. The City did
accept the overall utilities in The Woods at Longacres on December 11, 1995 with the exception
of this small portion of sanitary sewer. Staff has inspected the sanitary sewer line and found the
system acceptable contingent upon completion of any outstanding punch list items.
Therefore, it is recommended that the City Council accept the remaining portion of public utilities,
specifically the 10 -inch sanitary sewer line extended across Lot 4, Block 1 and Outlot F, The
Woods at Longacres, contingent upon completion of any outstanding punch list items.

The Woods At Longacres
Project No. 93 -28
Gentlemen:
The City acceptance of the public utilities did not include the 10 -inch sanitary
sewer extension north of the project across the wetland. The construction was
completed last winter.
Representatives of Schoell & Madson, Inc. provided construction staking and
observation of this sewer. On this basis, we certify that this sewer was constructed in
substantial compliance with the City approved plans and specifications. On behalf of
Lundgren Bros. Construction, Inc., we are requesting City acceptance of the
completed utilities.
Please contact me with any questions.
Very truly yours,
SCHOELL & MADSO INC.
