SUBJ: Appointments to City Commissions
At our last meeting, the City Council made the following appointments to the
Planning Commission: Mark Undestad, Kathleen Thomas, Kim Tennyson and
Lisa Hokkanen. Following tonight's work session, interviews for the Park &
Recreation Commission, Environmental Commission and Senior Commission are
complete and appointments may be made. Appointments will take effect for
commission meetings in April. The following is a list of applicants for each
commission:

Park & Recreation Commission — Three 3 -Year Positions
The terms of Commissioners Glenn Stolar, Steve Scharfenberg, and Scott Wendt are expiring.
Commissioners Stolar and Wendt have decided not to reapply. The Park & Commission interviewed
applicants on February 22. Appointments will take effect for the April 26` Park & Recreation Commission
Applicants:
• Steve Scharfenberg, 1470 Lake Susan Hills Drive (incumbent serving since April 2004)
• Rick Shea, 533 Big Woods Boulevard
• Jenna Marie Rodenz, 681 Bighorn Drive

The terms of Commissioners Fred Prinz and Carol Buesgens are expiring. There is an additional
vacancy created by the resignation of Charlie Robbins. Commissioner Carol Buesgens is seeking
reappointment, while Commissioner Fred Prinz has decided not to reapply. The Senior
Commission interviewed applicants on February 18. Appointments will take effect for the
April 15th Senior Commission meeting.

Environmental Com. -- Two 3 -Year Positions
The terms of Commissioners Beverly Foster and J. Richard Relick are expiring. Commissioner
Foster has chosen not to reapply and Commissioner Relick applied for the Planning Commission
and lists the Environmental Commission as an alternate. The Environmental Commission
interviewed applicants on March 9. Appointments will take effect for the April 13
Environmental Commission meeting.
