Chanhassen City Council Minutes
November 18,1996
A special meeting of the Chanhassen City Council was held on Monday, November 18, 1996 at
5:30 p.m. in the Courtyard Conference Room. The following were present: Mayor Chmiel,
Council members Mason, Dockendorf, Berquist and Senn. Mayor Elect Mancino was also
present. Staff present: Don Ashworth, City Manager and Charles Folch, City Engineer.
Work Session: At 5:30 p.m. the city council held a work session with representatives from
Hennepin County regarding the Trunk Highway 101 improvement project including plans,
' timing, etc.
The special meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m.
Approval of Bills: A motion was made b Councilman Senn and seconded b Council

Berquist to approve the bills dated November 12, 1996 as presented. Staff is to check on purpose
of various bills (approximately 6). All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Lake Ann Ballfield Lighting Project, Approve Change Order No. 1: A motion was made by
Councilman Senn and seconded by Councilwoman Dockendorf to table this item until the
November 25, 1996 meeting. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Approve Change Order No. 1, Kerber Boulevard Bituminous Overlay Project 96 -5: A
motion was made by Councilman Senn and seconded by Councilman Mason to approve Change
Order No. l for the Kerber Boulevard Bituminous Overlay Project as presented. All voted in
favor and the motion carried.
Updates: Staff updates were given on the consumer price index rate and the Post Office Carrier
Annex.
' Growth Options: A draft letter to the Metropolitan Council is to be included in the November
25 administrative packet. Letter to be sent unless the council pulls it for discussion or
modification.
A motion was made by Mayor Chmiel and seconded by Councilman Senn to adjourn the meeting
at 7:30 p.m. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
