' SUBJ: Lake Ann Ballfield Lighting Project, Approve Change Order No. 1
' On September 23, the city council awarded the Lake Ann Park Ballfield Lighting Project to
Electrical Installation and Maintenance Company (EIM). Upon detailed review of construction
documents, Mr. Ken Pysick, President of EIM contacted me to discuss two contract amendments:
1. Installation of identified I.D. conductors in service lateral.
Grounded I.D. conductors required by inspector.
2. Route wiring system around perimeter of ballfields in lieu of across fields.
A desired plan amendment to minimize disturbance of irrigation systems and to avoid
trench settlements on the playing surface.
The addition of both these items is supported by staff and is well within the original project
' budget.
RECOMMENDATION
' It is recommended that the city council approve Change Order No. 1 to the Lake Ann Park
Ballfield Lighting Project in the amount of $4,350.
