Staff has received a letter from Mr. Ken Adolf, Project Engineer with Schoell & Madson, Inc.,
requesting the City consider acceptance of the public utility improvements in the above - referenced
project. According to Mr. Adolf, the public utility improvements have been completed in accordance
with the approved plans and specifications. The utility improvements have been tested and approved
by City staff. Staff has performed a walk - through inspection of the project and found that some minor
adjustments are required by the contractor prior to final acceptance by the City.
It is therefore recommended the City Council accept the sanitary sewer and water improvements in
The Meadows at Longacres 3rd Addition for perpetual maintenance and ownership. Acceptance
shall be contingent upon the developer and/or contractor providing a satisfactory maintenance bond
' for two years from the date of acceptance and completing any outstanding punchlist items by
November 15, 1996.
