OLD BUSINESS
Director Harr discussed the viability of the city continuing the animal control program for the five

increase in calls the CSOs are experiencing because of the contract. Director Harr will submit a
recommendation on the animal control contract at an upcoming meeting.
' WEATHER SIRENS
Because the weather siren program was cut from the 1997 budget, alternative plans are being considered.
' Director Harr suggested possible options such as a combined water town /siren project, downtown

neighboring communities.
