JR Relick were appointed to the commission in 2008. He brought creativity, passion and
commitment to the commission. While serving on the commission, he contributed to following
accomplishments:
• Recognizing environmental stewardship in our community with the
Environmental Excellence Award program
• Promoting the Arbor Day Poster contest to local 5 grade students
• Revitalizing the annual Arbor Day celebration to honor the spirit of the day with
tree planting
• Donating their time and talents for public education at the July 3 and 4 events
