SUBJ: 1996 Goals
Our department heads are currently meeting with each of our commissions asking them to
establish goals for 1996. I know that I can speak for all of our department heads in saying that
they would appreciate an opportunity to present the goals as developed by our commissions
during a future work session. In addition to goals, each of the departments have a number of
questions which will direct our long term work efforts, i.e. Kate would like to discuss the city
council's thoughts as to when we should be looking at bringing the area around Highways 41 and
5 into the MUSA area, the study area south of Lyman Boulevard, etc. I am sure that each of our
departments have similar long range goal questions.
Hopefully we will have time on Monday evening to discuss this item and potentially set a work
session date for shortly after the start of the new year.
