SUBJ: Acceptance of Street Improvements in Bluff Creek 1 st & 2nd Additions
Project No. 92 -10
Staff has received a letter from Mr. Joel Cooper, Project Engineer with James R. Hill
Engineering, Inc. requesting the City consider acceptance of the public street improvements in
the above - referenced project. According to Mr. Cooper, the public street improvements have
been completed in conformance with the approved plans and specifications. The City has already
accepted the public utility improvements. City staff performed a walk - through inspection of the
project and found the project is in satisfactory condition. The City has not yet received a two -
year maintenance bond for the street improvements.
It is therefore recommended that the City Council accept the public street improvements in Bluff
Creek 1st and 2nd Additions, Project No. 92 -10 for perpetual maintenance and ownership
conditioned upon the developer and /or contractor supplying the City with an acceptable
maintenance bond for two years from the date of acceptance.
