A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR WETLAND BUFFER MONUMENTATION
WHEREAS the city andates the installation of wetland buffer edge monumentation

consistent with the requirements of Article VI, Wetland Ordinance, Section 20 -406, which states
that all lots created after December 14, 1992, include a buffer strip abutting all wetlands and shall '
be identified by signage and permanent monumentation acceptable to the city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen accepted the responsibility as the local governing unit '
(LGU) for the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA) as of January 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, to administer the installation and materials for the buffer monumentation a ,
fee will be necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council hereby adopts '
the fee of $20 per sign/monument.
