',Board member Steve Berquist called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.

? .REOUEST FOR A 1 FOOT VARIANCE FROM THE 22 FOOT FRONT YARD
~ETBACK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PORCH, MARK AND SUSAN BRADY,
~371 NEAR MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD
Cynthia Kirchoffpresented the staff report.
Steve Berquist questioned if the porch would be the same elevation as the front door.
Mark Brady indicated that the footings would be 1 foot below grade and that the porch would be
the same elevation as the front door.
Berquist moved, Senn seconded the motion to close the public hearing.
Senn moved, Berquist seconded the motion to approve a 1 foot variance from the front yard
setback for the construction of a porch with the condition that it never be enclosed.
4PPROVAL OF MINUTES: Berquist moved to approve the minutes of the Board of
Adjustments and Appeals Meeting dated July 8, 1997. Senn and Mancino abstained.
Berquist moved, Senn seconded to adjourn the meeting. All voted in favor and the motion
carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
