1965 03 11MINUTES OF THE MARCH 11th, 1965 COUNCIL MEETING The Village Council of Chanhassen Minnesota, met in regular meeting March 11, 1965, at 7:30 PM'at the Village Halle. All members were presentr. Mayor Coulter opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag. The minutes of the last meeting were read, and on a motion made by councilman Pauly and seconded by councilman Tessness that the minutes be approved as read. Mr. Bob Mayer, owner of the Quick Clean Center was present. The sewer rates were discussedt. Mrs Ann Koltyk also present'; presented her liquor license application to the council for approval. On a motion made by councilman Tessness and seconded by councilman --Hanson that the Chanhassen Village Council accept the liquor license application made by Mrs Ann Koltyk�, Motion Ca rried. No neg. Votes. Mr Harry Pauly -present, presented his liquor license application to the council for approval,. On a motion made by councilman Hanson and seconded by councilman Roeser that the Chanhassen Village Uouncil accept the liquor license application made by Harry Paulyt. The Council was polled: Mayor Coulter declines to vote, because he belives a relative is involved,* Councilman Tessness---aye Councilman Hanson -----aye Councilman Roeser -----aye ed Councilman Pauly declines to vote because a relative is involv- MOTION CARRIED, NO NEG VOTES. Mrs. Tory FlatebattiMillage Engineer„ was present and he gave a more detailed summary on what the price of Bob Scholler's well and pump house would cost the Village if the Village would decide.to take over Bob's present water system. On a motion made by councilman Hanson and seconded by councilman Roeser that the Village.Engineers continue with their water study. Motion Carried'. No neg. Votes. On a motion madeby councilman Tessness and seconded by councilman Roeser that the sewer rental on apartments shall be as follows:. 14Bedroom=- a unit 2 -bedrooms --3/4 unit%. MOTION CARRIED. NO NEGATIVE VOTES. On a motion made by councilman Hanson and seconded by councilman Roeser that the sewer service rates be reduced 16 2/3% starting lst;, quarters 1965. On a motion made by councilman Tessness and seconded by councilman Roeser that Earl McAllister be appointed Fire Marshall of the Village of Chanhassen* MOTION CARRIED:, NO NEGATIVE VOTES. Mr. Zetah--Building Inspector was present and the setting of the build- ing permit fees was discussed at great lengthy., A motion made by councilman Tessness and seconded by councilman Roeser to adjourn this meeting.
