MINUTES OF THE JUNE 10:y VILLAGE COUNCIL FETING
The Village Council met in regular meeting on June 10-, 1965 at the
Village Hall at 8:00 PX�,
The following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilman Pauly,
Councilman Hanson and Treasurer Harold Kerber.
The following members were absent: Councilman Roeser and Councilman
Tessness.
Mayor Coulter opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag. The
minutes of the last meeting were read and on a motion made by councilman
Pauly and seconded by councilman Hanson that the minutes be approved as
read. Motion carried. No Negative votes.
A discussion was held on what size and length culvert the Village
furnish property owners? Checking back on Village Records it was deter-
mined that the policy of the Village is to furnish one culvert 16ft long
and the diameter to be determined by the maintenance committee.
It was suggested that the sewage plant be painted and also at some
future time install a 6 foot high fence around plant.
On a motion made by Councilman Hanson and seconded by councilman
Pauly that the Village Council adopt EXHIBIT "A" by resolution, which is
an application for the purpose of abtaining certain Federal Financial
Assistance under the Federal Disaster act, and to authorize Kay Klingelhutz
to act for and in behalf of the Village of Chanhassenf.
M. B. Hagen Reality and Harold and Leona Kerber have presented a formal
petition for the annexation of certain lands to be annexed to the Village
of Chanhassen. (DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE #55) On a motion made by councilman
Hanson and seconded by councilman Pauly that the Village grant this
petition. Motion carried. No neg. votes,. Clerk is instructed to prepare
ordinance for publicationve
A request by letter from Standard Oil Co, was read asking if there
are any assessments against the American Legion Property. The clerk was
instructed to answer them, that at the present time there are no assess-
ments against this property, but eventually there will be water and sewer
assessment when these utilities reach this property.
It was decided to hold over all old business until the next council
meeting.
On a motion made by councilman Pauly and seconded by councilman Hanson
that all bills due be paid except Town & Country Bill which will be tabled.
Motion carried. No neg votes'
On a motion made by councilman Pauly and seconded by councilman Hanson
that the meeting be adjourned.
