The Chanhassen Village Council met in regular meeting on June 12, 190'
at 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. The following members present:
Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Ilehl, Erickson, Roeser present.
Tessness came late. Town board members Al Klingelhutz and Dick
Lyman .present.
The minutes of the May 22nd, June lst and June 8th meetings were
read. On a motion :made by Councilmen Hehl and seconded by
Councilmen Roeser, minutes be approved as read.. Motion carried,
no negative votes.
On a motion made by Councilmen Hehl and seconded by Councilmen
Loeser that we post St. John's and St Andrews Street to a four
ton load limit. Motion carried, no negative votes.
The swimming program was discussed. Their has been no definite plans
made. Any one interested should contact Ron Roeser for information.
Mayor Coulter related to the Council that Mr. Henry Wrase would take
the job of weed inspector for the Village of Chanhassen.
On a motion made by Councilmen Tessess and seconded by Councilmen
Erickson that the Village should adopt the Resolution regarding
RECONSTRUCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 101. Motion carried no negative
votes. (Resolution on file)
A discussion was held on a phone for emergencies only to be used by
Village Residents. On a motion made by Councilmen Hehl and
seconded by Councilmen Roeser that the Village authorize a 44 5
number to beeffected ;July.:,1s 19 tend -a 474 number to be available
With the official opening of the Village offices. Coulter -aye,
Mehl -aye, Tessness -aye, Erickson -aye, Roeser -aye, Lyman -aye,
Al Klingelhutz -aye. Motion carried no negative votes.
A. letter was read from Govenor Levander requesting a recommendation
of a qualified. man for the metropolitan Council. After much discus-
sion on a motion made by Councilmen Tessness and seconded by Council-
men Hehl the Chanhassen Village Council endores Hilbert Hill for
the I- Tetropolitan Council. notion carried, no negative votes.
On a motion made by Councilmen Tessness and seconded by Councilmen
Roeser that all bills submitted for payment by approved, except
those circled. Motion carried no negative votes.
On a motion made by Councilmen Erickson and seconded by Councilmen
Roeser that the Bloomberg Liquor License application for On and Off
Sale Intoxication Liquor be approved. Motion carried, no negative
votes.
On a motion made by Councilmen Hehl and seconded by Councilmen
Roeser that the Council approve a set up License for each- -
Riveria Club and Chanhassen American Post ,� - I•Ioti.on carried., no
negative votes. Fee is $300.00

On a motion made by Councilmen Poeser and seconded by Councilmen
Erickson authorizing a On Sale non - intoxicating Liquor License
to Saint Hubert•s School and the Chanhassen Fire Department.
Notion carried. no negative votes.
Councilmen Tessness rel2.ted to the Council that he has talked. to
Tarry Larsen.- P.epresentative from !'el- E. -Lect, stating that they
are interested in a. site for their industrial development in the
Village.. The Clerk is instructed to send them a letter stating
that the Council would like to meet with said Company after the
June 20th election
On a motion made by Councilmen Poeser and seconded. by Councilmen
Erickson meeting adjourned
