1967 07 251 Extract of Minutes of Meeting of Village Council Village of Chanhassen, Carver and Hennepin Counties, Minnesota Held, July 25, 1967 A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Chanhassen, Minnesota, was duly held at the Municipal Building in said Village on July 25, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The Village Clerk and the following Councilmen were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Hill, Tessness, and Klingelhutz; and the following were absent: None The Village Clerk presented an affidavit showing publication of a notice of hearing on the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain improvement in Sunrise Hills First and Second Additions, Auditors Subdivision No. 2, Western Hills Addition to the Village and adjoining areas, in the official newspaper on July 13, 1967, and her affidavit stating that she mailed a copy of the notice to the owner of each lot or parcel proposed to be assessed for the improvement described in the notice, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The Mayor then announced that the Village Council would consider the adoption of the resolution ordering the improvement and all objections to the proposedl,t improvement. The following persons appeared and made commend, the substance of which is set forth opposite their respective names: 1 Name of Speaker Mrs. F. D. Scott F. D. Scott Arden Hippen Teunis DeJoode Substance of Comments New home, our present system sgems adequate. Object to connecting to system at time of completion of said system. Water objection. Water objection. Robert A. Scholer, Individual Scholer, Inc., By R. Scholer Pres. Object to both sewer and water in Block 3, Sunrise Hills 2nd Addn. Reason: Slow movement in sales in above referred to Block will result in unnecessary financial burden in principal and interest.
