1967 10 061967 SEAL COATING .ASSESSMENT HEARING October 6, 1967 The Chanhassen Village Council met in special meeting at 8:00 P.M. at the Village Hall. The Following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhuti, Pearson, and Hill. Councilman Bennyhoff was absent. The purpose of said meeting was to conduct an Assessment Hearing on the 1967 Sealcoating Project. There being no objections, the meeting adjourned. Time 9:15 P.M. SEWER -EXTENSION KERBER DRIVE October 6, 1967 The Chanhassen Village Council met in special meeting at 9:15 P.M. at the Village Hall. The following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. Councilman Bennyhoff was absent. The purpose of said meeting was to conduct an Assessment Hearing on Sewer Extension Kerber Drive. There being no written or oral objections, the meeting= was adjourned. Time: 9:20 P.M. SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING The Chanhassen Village Council met in special meeting on October 6, 1967, at 10:00 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Hill, and Pearson. Councilman Bennyhoff was absent. On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz to dispense with all formalities. Motion unanimously approved. BUDGET: The 1968 Budget was discussed. Mr. Don Nolte, Fiscal Agent, was present. On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Hill that the Village of Chanhassen levy for a budget of $85,000.00. ($80,348.00 - General Village purposes; $4,65 2.00 - Bond Retirement on Municipal Building). Motion unanimously approved. P.E.R.A. On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz that Councilman Hill negotiate with Catherine Diethelm on her P.E.R.A. Motion unanimously approved. PARK & RECREATION COMMITTEE: On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz that Rev. Paul Flucke be appointed to serve on the Park and Recreation Committee. Motion unanimously approved. 1967 SEALCOATING PROJECT: On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded I y Councilman Hill that the 1967 Sealcoating Assessments be approved as adjusted and directing the Cle.r� to submit said assessment to the County Auditor to be placed on the tax rolls over a one year period. Motion unanimously approved. October 6, 1967 - minutes continued KERBER DRIVE - SETSJER EXTENSION: On a motion made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz that the Kerber Drive Sewer extension sewer assessment be approved and directing the Clerk; to submit said assessments to the County Auditor for collection on the tax rolls and to be spread over a fifteen year period at 6% interest on the unpaid balance. Motion unanimously approved. On a motion made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman °earson directing the Clerk to bill the school for sewer and water as shown on the assessment roll.
