1967 10 271967 -2 & 3 (CURB AND GUTTER) ASSESSMENT HEARING A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Chanhassen, Minnesota, was duly held at the municipal building in said Village on October 27, 1967, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The Village Clerk and the following Councilmen were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Hill, and Pearson, and the following were absent: Councilman Klingelhutz The Village Clerk presented an affidavit showing publication of a notice of hearing on the proposed special assessment for State -Aid Improvement Project No. 1967 -2 & 3 of the Village, in the official newspaper on October 12, 1967, and her affidavit stating that she mailed a copy of the notice to the owner of each lot or parcel proposed to be assessed for the improvement described in the notice, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The Mayor then announced that the Village Council would consider the adoption of the assessment roll prepared for said improvement and all objections to the assessments proposed in said assessment roll. The following persons appeared and made commend, the substance of which is set forth opposite their respective names: Name of Speaker None Substance of Comments There being no comments by anyone, the Mayor called the hearing over. Time: 8:30 P.M. 1967 -4 SEWER AND WATER ASSESSMENT HEARING A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Chanhassen, Minnesota, was duly held at the Municipal Building in said Village on October 27, 1967, at 8:30 o'clock P.M. The Village Clerk and the following Councilmen were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Hill, and Pearson; and the following were absent: Councilman Klingelhutz. The Village Clerk presented an affidavit showing publication of a notice of hearing on the proposed special assessment for a sanitary sewer and watermain improvement in Sunrise Hills First and Second Additions, Auditors Subdivision No. 2, and Western Hills Addition and adjoining areas to the Village, in the official newspaper on October 12, 1967, and her affidavit stating that she mailed a copy of the notice to the owner of each lot or parcel proposed to be assessed for the improvement described in the notice, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The Mayor then announced that the Village Council would consider the adoption of the assessment roll prepared for said improvement and all objections to the assessments proposed in said assessment roll. Object to assessment based on lots. Robert Scholer Request notification of final cost of improvement and subsequent adjustment of assessments. As outlined at this hearing, actual costs are not known - contingencies are being used to arrive at cost and spread of assessment. There being,no further comments the Mayor called the hearing over.
