1969 06 24_ - BOARD. Off' . REVIEW,... JUNE 24, 1.9 6 9 The following were present: Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, and Pearson. No property owners were present voicing their objection against valuation placed on their property. Mrs. Donald Schmieg was present requesting that the water assessment placed against their property listed as the North 45 feet of Lots 4 and 5, Block 4, Original Town, be taken from the assessment roll as the watermain is not in front of this property. No decision was made the Village Attorney will look into this matter and give his opinion at the next meeting. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Councilman Pearson to adjourn the Board of Review for the year 1969. The following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, and Pearson. No negative votes. Meeting adjourned. CHANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 24, 1969 The special council meeting was called to order at 8:45 p.m. The following were present: Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, and Pearson. RIVIERA CLUB: Mr. Dallas Capesius was present requesting the Village grant him a club liquor license. Stating that the law had changed in the last legislative session which would make their club eligible for a club liquor license. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Bennyhoff that action be tabled on this until the Attorney has time to check into the law that was enacted at this last session and present to the Council. The following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. 68 -2:. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Councilmen Pearson authorizing the $350.00 charge for underground service to be installed by Northern States Power Company to Well Number 2. The following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Pearson, Bennyhoff, and Klingelhutz. No negative votes. Motion carried. Adolph Tessness Clerk- Administrator SALES TAX: A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Bennyhoff authorizing the Village Attorney to meet with Victoria concerning the Sales Tax Act and report back to the Council. The following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Pearson, Bennyhoff, and Klingelhutz. No negative votes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned 9 :30 p.m. Adolph Tessness Clerk- Administrator
