Box 147 690 Coulter Drive Chanhassen, MN 55317 Re: Plans and Specifications, Phase I Lyman Boulevard and Lake Riley Area Trunk Utility Improvements City Project No. 93 -32 OSM Project No. 5183.00 Dear Charles: 612- 595 -5775 1 -800- 753 -5775 FAX 595 -5774 Engineers Architects Planners Surveyors In an effort to meet the timing set forth by the developer of Mission Hills, we are proposing the following schedule: Council Receives Plan and Specifications September 12, 1994 Council Authorizes Ad for Bid September 12, 1994 Bid Opening October 6, 1994 Council Awards Contract for Construction October 10, 1994 Begin Construction October 24, 1994 Substantial Completion of Construction November, 1994 This is an aggressive schedule for this project. If any of the dates shown above are not met, the construction will be delayed, thereby not meeting the perceived needs of the Mission Hills developer. The following are issues that must be satisfied prior to award of the project: Easements /Right -of -Entry for properties not platted Mn /DOT Review /Permit for construction along T.H. 101 Final Plat for Mission Hills Final Grading of 86th Street The concerns that I have at this time are the first two items listed. These are items that appear to have the greatest potential for delaying this project. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 595 -5699 or Wayne Houle at 595 -5736.
